Spiritual america combines a personal journey with the journey of a mythological figure of early photography, Alfred Stieglitz in an attempt to decipher the late part of Stiglitz’s work, during which he dedicated his entirety to photographing clouds.
This journey culminated in a series of objects inspired by photographs taken at a solar power plant in the negev desert adjacent to the more infamous “Sorek” nuclear research facility.
