Ultrasound is a time based installation which attempts to visualize the reciprocal nature between sound and material. Sculptures crafted from frozen blocks of ultrasound gel are left to melt on an amplified table.
As the sculptures deform and devolve so does the sound transduced through the table, creating an echo in real time of form and its inevitable deterioration.
